Eric Peterson (CEO)
Eric Peterson, MSc/MBA (Candidate) is the Founder and Managing Director of Honua Resources LLC, a startup geothermal service company based in New York City. He holds a Master of Science in Geology from San Diego State University and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Sciences from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is currently pursuing his Executive MBA at New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. With over 16 years of experience in the energy industry, including roles at BHP and Schlumberger as a Geophysicist, Peterson is a seasoned geoscientist and business leader. He has played pivotal roles in prospect analysis, regional mapping, and process improvements across various regions globally. Peterson is a recognized expert in geothermal energy and has delivered presentations recently at institutions like the US Department of the Navy's Naval Postgraduate School and New York University.
